today some sad news received me. On the 7/2/2023 the famous, to greek railfans, Hans-Bernhard Schönborn died at the age of 71 after a long illness. These are sad news as due to his efforts there was a significant revival of museum trains in the late 90s and early 2000s.
Of I remember correctly I got to know HB at around 1999 and we me several times when he came to Greece but also I am at least in one occasion with him visiting some railways in Switzerland around 20 years ago.
May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family.
