Ρφπ 18532 in 1/87 - ΟΧΗΜΑ ΧHΜΙΚΗΣ ΕΚΧΟΡΤΩΣΕΩΣ 30 73 100 7 317-5

Ρφπ 18532 had at some point been converted to a Chemical Weeding (ΧΗΜΙΚΗ ΕΚΧΟΡΤΩΣΗ) wagon receiving the 30 73 100 7 317-5 registration number.

Tim has already posted this photo. Thessaloniki old station in May 2000, the wagon appears to be part of a weed killing train.

According to Jason it wasn't a stand alone weeder but it's role was to serve the Thessaloniki based HD-20 Chemical Weeder. There are two of those French built wagons, 20 73 950 0 001 in Athens and 002 at Thessaloniki.

We use the well known KLEIN/ROCO USATC tank wagon.
I have added the handles, treated the chassis and replaced the buffers as I have already described at the P6 built viewtopic.php?f=13&t=98&start=30

I also added, using 1mm wire, the "pipe" at the top of the tank according to the original.

Next I modeled the rectangular open "tank" and the "pipes". I have no idea what they were used for, but they have to be there
The tank is made of Evergeen 0.25 mm plastic card ( L:30mm W:9mm H:11mm) and the pipes are of 1mm steel rod.

Sorry for hijacking your thread, but i have finished the spraying car. This is a modified kit from the french company SMD Productions. Some differences are in the shape of the cabin, lighting, piping and the handbrake wheels.
