There were seven of us and only one beer drinker. All the rest were addicted to the staff and the crate only lasted for a couple of days so we graduated to the 2L bottles for ease and convenience. I lost count after a while. There were half a dozen of Plomari downed as well. Happy times.

I just met with Les today. He has decided to reissue a small number of MLWs. They will still carry the BALKAN MODELS brand though my name, Stefanie's name and Forest Row address will be removed from each fret and box. My address is now an MLW free zone .

Dear friends,

All four types of MLW kits have been for a while now entirely in Les' hands. We now hope to be able to complete the sale of the ALSTHOM kits very soon, once a set of instructions is produced. In due course all other kits will follow the same route. Les will continue offering the same level of customer care as I did, however old pricing would not be possible to remain.

PS. Some Ganz AA railcars, an Alsthom and very few Sachsenmodelle carriages are still available for sale from me.
PPS. Les informs me that a number of MLW kits have been sold. However, more etches have been ordered so that he would carry on selling these kits till all critical parts run out.
