put it in the conversions list for a set of decals

Just remember that Modellbau Krueger is REALLY EXPENSIVE. I have met the guy and he was charching something like 20E for 4 uspung USATC buffers in Brass... They were good but too expensive.

we could reconsider Andreas' ideas

as I can see at the link Andy gave us, the model corresponds exactly to our original.
the two types are identical except of the brake platform.

everything seems to be at the right place, the 4 footsteps at the side and these 10 "hooks" are correctly positioned

the Lbms model has at one of the ends a small wooden platform above the buffers, note the supports on the real thing!

another view of the Lbms-v brake platform. from a discussion I had with Christo he convinced me that initially there was a wooden brake hut on it.
these 4 support points probably were holding it in place, but I guess if we are modeling the 80's and on it'll be just fine without one.
also visible is the base of the handrails at the side.

the footsteps can be visible at the other side, next time I'll have to shoot that side too
