Interesting pictures from Basel. The front of the canopy is no longer visible, a bridgework is today build at this position.

The SBB-Coach, in this you has travelled Christo, is a unified Car I (EW I). I think this is one of the first have get the new logotype, introduced 1982.

Actually, the last EW I and EW II-coaches with slam-doors have their last trip in this Week: The last push-pull-train, formed of EW II and the last EWI-firstclass-coach with slam-doors, travels in the evening of monday, 24. November from Bern to Spiez. After a empty ride back to Olten, the most of this carriages going to scrap!

Thanks TEE1055. I am sorry about my poor knowledge on Swiss matters but here is one for you from Bern just in case you live nearer there than Basel.
