Photo Balkanmodels: April 2000. Three unidentified Scania buses from the 40 strong class are resting in their terminal in the outskirts of Thessaloniki. These buses were introduced in 1995 and because OASTH retires buses when they become 15 years old, they should have all be withdrawn by now.

Photo Balkanmodels: October 2014. A Scania from the second batch pelting up the ring road Thessaloniki. We are doing 70 but we are losing him. It is service 992 (non-passenger carrying). I thought these buses should have retired in 2012 according to the 15 year operating schedule.

Photo Balkanmodels: October 2014 near Mikra Thessaloniki. This ten year old Volvo B7R was one of a class of 40 strong and it was introduced in 2004. The ravages of time are showing in the paintwork. Fleet no.437, licence plate NET4417.

Photo Balkanmodels: June 1985 by the Ancient Hippodrome in Thessaloniki. An 18m orange bendy bus along Egnatia Strret. This is probably from the first batch and it is worth noting that it was the first type of its kind to be used in Thessaloniki and in fact in the whole of Greece.
