Yes, you get it right. It would be impossible to list every single left-behind car in a list showing the classes and types of cars.

I don't know... Jason has written that this I1 has been scrapped a few years ago... let's wait and see if there is another one around

It is around the old port area in Thessaloniki and the wagons are Z1 as in viewtopic.php?f=13&t=72

I doubt these buildings survived past WWII.

However we used to live near the port area and I distinctly remember those long horse drawn wagons, as in the picture, and the terrible noise they used to make on the cobbled street where I lived as a young boy. In fact every morning there used to be convoys of them parading in my street. Later the wooden wheels on these same carts were replaced with car rubber tyres. Even later the horse drawn carts gave way to motor powered three wheelers (gotzamanis), which in time gave themselves their place to small trucks for the needs of the city.

please take a look at the car carrier in the 7th picture.... It looks familiar but I cannot identify it positively because of the roof. The livery is very striking. The picture was taken on the 8.4.2016 in Shiraz, Iran. The train came from Hungary...

Appearance wise it looks very similar to the OSE car carrier. However I see that the nerves on the roof are length-wise while in the OSE one are width-wise. Maybe the roof on this open does not open like in the OSE one. Also looking at photos in the internet (sorry I haven't got any of mine to post) the OSE car's livery has two additional white stripes one near the roof and another near the bottom.
