Actually it is ΕΛΒΟ.ΕΒΟ means ΕΛΛΗΝΙΚΗ ΒΙΟΜΗΧΑΝΙΑ ΟΠΛΩΝ (Greek Guns Company).ΕΒΟ makes most of the Greek Army weapons.ΕΛΒΟ, on the other hand was a part of Steyr (see Greek Army trucks,Fire Brigade......),an Austrian vehicles manufacturer.Now ΕΛΒΟ belongs to Greece and its factory is in ΒΙ.ΠΕ Sindos (industrial area of Sindos) in Thessaloniki.They build cars,trucks,pickups,buses,tanks.......See Athens buses,Greek Army buses,Police buses,Fire Brigade buses........

Nice to see such a classic vehicle still in use! It belongs to some "Volunteer Samaritan Corps" rather than the Red Cross.
One can read the donator's name on the label at the rear sliding door.
