Are those logos in white colour correctly printed?

Good question. Now let me add two more:

Should the solebars be painted black?

Should the paint on the roof stop where it does?

Can anyone enlighten us with some photos? I only had one photo of the baggage car in white lettering and I posted it here already.

you have all placed some good questions...
it's nice that we have some ''new'' OSE models, though there seems to be inaccuracies as usual
the roof painting looks wrong (I could live with that) but I'll be really disappointed if the solebars aren't correctly painted...

When I used to produce models of carriages I used to base them on photos of the originals. Maybe Tillig have got such photos but it will be nice if we also knew the prototypes to these models. As far as I know all VEBs came from Germany with roofs painted wrapped around the ends and with solebars painted black. However I will be happy to find out that I am wrong.

It's courious...even at EBay the picture of that set appears with the old CSD marking...are we still talking about a prototype?

This week, our postman like the greek things Today he brings the Tillig coach set. I had make some pictures. The models are not very detailed, but good enough. It`s apparent the models have some differents to the prototype (for example: rounded roof-ends). The maintenance-date are the Years 1974 and 1975, the location "Btz", this is for "Bautzen"? It`s seems the coaches are in out-of-factory condition. The Smoker/Nonsmoker signs are in greek and german! What does the nonsmoker sign over the bogies?

TEE1055 I see from your photos that only the BD carriage has moulded handrails while the B and AB have holes for fitting handrails as extras. Can you confirm that Tillig has made changes to the mould of these two carriages?

This are my first Y-type carriages from Tillig. The others are from precursor Sachsenmodelle, all have moulded handrails (BDZ, MAV, CFR but no OSE). It`s seems that Tillig had modify the mould. In the year 2004, i had make the first order of these coaches, but the first delivery was today

I have mixed feelings about these coaches...
although I'd like to have all the OSE models released, I feel it's time to say no...
we already have quite some VEBs and unless one is modeling the 70s - early 80's, they aren't offering something new.
I'd prefer some new numbers in yellow lettering/old logo scheme, especially an ABm

Yes, this "grille" is on the ABm and Bm only printed, but at one only side of coach.
