Hi Christo,

I think the first photo is from the Depot in Dreispitz.

Cheers

Thanks Andreas, I have one last one from somewhere along the same line.

Photo Balkanmodels: April 1982 another tram shed somewhere between Basel and Dornach. This time one number 10, an old fashion 4 wheeler and an overhead inspection car can be visible.

I think the sheds on the last two pictures are demolished, because the second depot at Dreispitz is completly newly-created.

Today i had a assignment in the Laufen-Valley (known for Ricola!! ). At Dornach i make pictures for a very interesting comparison with the ones from Christo. Today, Dornach is not longer a full railway station, but a stopover only. The signals and turnouts are controlled from Münchenstein, where a electronic signalbox SIMIS-C, build 2003 is on place. The wonderful mecanical Signalbox is lost, like the last one for passenger services at Bad Zurzach in the year 2013. The goods-shed of Dornach has make place for a big multimodal Station for the "Postauto", BLT-Buses and the BLT-"Trams".

As last: Siding at Grellingen with a steam train from Olten to Bonfol and a Stadler EMU "FLIRT" to Basel.

Thanks Johannes. It always makes me sad when progress bulldozes history.

Photo Balkanmodels: April 1982 two green trams in the streets of Basel. Number 18 is coming, while number 14 is going. I was wondering if these two trams were of a different type because of the different end windows.Maybe one of our Swiss friends will tell us.

Basel has only one-direction Trams. The back-end has no driver cabin. Due to this, the trams are asymetric.
The Tram at left is a swiss standard Tram, today out of service. The same type was worked in Zürich, Bern, Genève and Luzern (no tramway since the 1960 years). The Zürich-ones driving today in Pjongjang, North-Corea !
The tram at right is a articulated-tram from Duewag, Germany. By the BVB, there are out of service, but in Serbia, they are on service now!

Thanks Johannes, here is my last tram. Maybe you could say what type this one is?

Photo Balkanmodels: April 1982 green tram number 6 in the streets of Basel. There seem to be two units coupled together.

Lets also say tha the stop with tram 14 and 18 is Marktplatz with the known red building that is the town hall.

Tram 18 btw does no longer exist in Basel IIRC.

Dimitris, did you cut the destination board from the green arrow to stick it in the red arrow as below? Did you also repeat the process on the other side of the wagon?
