Photo Balkanmodels: 16/4/2015. Hurricane is under the road bridge. The tender looks quite large for the size of the loco but all tenders on the line looked a similar size. Anyhow that was the last train departing for Dungeness. Tomorrow I will travel myself.

Early the next day, I found myself at New Romney station with tickets to travel the line. The first train to Dungeness was diesel hauled.

Photo Balkanmodels: 17/4/2015. After about 1/2 an hour, the train arrived at Dungeness; a very bleak and desolate place with a nuclear power station as its neighbour. Time to take a closer look at "Captain Howey".

Photo Balkanmodels: 17/4/2015. Looking closer at "Captain Howey", one notes the reversible seats so that the engine can run the other way.
