Let's make some load for our flatbeds, or additions for our (future for some of us  ) layouts

Here is the 1st vehicles at Phil's shot viewtopic.php?f=13&t=118&p=1573#p1573

Dodge M37 shot during the 25th March 1992 parade, not parading of course, it was a support vehicle

Let's have a look at the video Andy has spotted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sEFWjO6Rp4Y

there are some M113 loaded on the flatbeds, the first one is an M113A1, distinguished from the German type smoke launchers at the frond.

I have scanned very few of my films till now, so I use a screen shot from this year's Thessaloniki 28th October parade video

Μ113Α1 28.10.2013.jpg

the rest are M113, they have no smoke launchers

and at the same date in 2006, note the different paint scheme

OK, I've posted two of these shots elsewhere but it will do no harm to repeat them here. This was the only military train I've seen, at Rodopoli in 2000. There were four or five tanks on flats, all updated M48s, plus a stake wagon carrying a M-B Wolf jeep. A P9 (?) tank wagon, a Ψ-2 fridge van plus a couple of coaches completed the train. I didn't take any more photos since I didn't fancy getting arrested!

Roco of course make nice models of the M48, M60 and the Wolf, or if you want to go right back, the AMX-30.

thanks for the last photo Tim. so you do have a photo of the Lbs :D viewtopic.php?f=13&t=187

I'm looking forward to have my military train running! we already have the Rs-v, Rmmp and Lbs conversions in progress, and the Rgmms on the design table ;)
I wish we could spot some models to make the Rgs and Rgss...

the BMP-1 was introduced to the Greek Army at the early 90s.
I think they were from the ex-DDR surplus and used to equip some secondary formations.
Initially they were painted in their original plain green but they soon received a camo scheme
