As for the SS line, it closed in 1947 and was made by foreign troops in WWI.This is one of the two lines that continued to operate after the War.The other was the Skydra Aridea line that closed in 1936.From all the rolling stock,only some wagon frames and two locos remain.The Baldwin loco, now in Volos, was transported there in an attempt to start the Volos steam trams again.Now it is in bad condition, although it is protected from rain and snow......The other loco is in Lefka for an unknown reason.

Dear friends.
I am now content to be involved in far fewer projects than in the early days. The duties of grandparenting are a constant ask. However, there are many excellent modellers out there and their projects speak volumes in this forum.
Without going into the reason why this line is so very special to me, a few months ago I bought a tiny 009 Baldwin WD locomotive from Bachmann as it operated there. And after reading the excellent book on this subject, I have designed all the 18 running cast plates and I will add some small details like bunker extensions and additional roofs. I am primarily producing this for myself but if anyone else wants any please let me know. Brexit is upon us and the trading future uncertain.

Fifteen Baldwin plates will be produced. These are: 939, 941, 944, 949, 952, 954, 956, 973, 975, 978, 979, 982, 983, 987, 988.

Note: There is a little room for some additional plates so I will wait a few days for any requests.

I heard nothing, so obviously no one shares my passion for all things narrow. So the extra plates I selected are 507, 652, 667, 747, 780, 854, 883, and maybe 1096. All saw service outside Greece.
