As beggining of this topic, I'd like to answer about this picture I've seen in Facebook, posted by Γιώργος Δάγλας‎ in the 'Trains in Greece' group.

Named as 'Golden Eagle. Danube Express', those coaches appeared in your tracks.

As seen in the http://www.goldeneagleluxurytrains.com/ lost of exciting trips are on tracks, and some are involved in balkan routes

I think it's a good idea to look for more pictures of this train

I'll have to look for more info but I think this train doesn't pass normally from Northern Greece, it did come though during last winter floods at Bulgaria...

As we can see, BDZ added a Halberstadt-type couchette car (very similar to the red OSE HSY couchette cars) from/to Sofia
