OK. A lot of gratitude to Sachsenmodelle and then Tillig. Two carriages as part of four car set 14010 and 14009.


Then I asked them to make some exclusives for Balkan Models. So three carriages were produced. Each number aprox. 120 pieces.



Then Sachsen produced this one.

Finally they produced for Balkan Models two red/white BDms. This time aprox. 150 pieces for each number.

Then of course OSE changed their insignia and logo.


Both Photos Balkanmodels: April 2005 at NES Thessaloniki. Alas that was my last serious attempt at recording stock. The running down of the Railways in Greece had begun. Twenty happy years chasing trains and all things moving on rails. Dodging officials, bribing with UK football momentoes etc. Ah happy days.

So I got Sachsen to produce two more carriages. This time aprox. 150 cars of each number.

Some of them were demoted to 51 73 xx40

I think they were all downgraded from xx80 to xx40 showing the maximum permited speed from 160km/h reduced to 140km/h.

If I understand correctly, the unchanged carriages you mention had the new OSE logo and numbering on the sole bar but kept their xx80. Or were there carriages with xx80 but still with the old logo?

(At least most of them) had still the old logo. Some, or maybe all of them were destroyed / out of use before the downgrading.
